You know, Christmas is more reserved in Scotland with a somber display of highland dancing before everybody sits down to a merry, joyous Christmas dinner. Their real holiday is the New Year, known as Hognamay. I saw a celebration of it one time during an ABC New Year's Eve special in 2001. |
