Here's a lovely lady skating at a local roller skating club's tribute to Broadway.  She's skating to "If They Could See Me Now" from the Bob Fosse musical "Sweet Charity!"  What a set up!

WELL, after 301 days and a cancelled season, the NHL's got its collective bargaining aggrement, including the hard salary cap(or is it cost certainty?).  They're gonna have a hard time getting fans back to the rink.  With no national TV contract in the USA, the NHL's gonna disappear!

You have to admit that the North Dakota college hockey team is the finest in the USA.  And their cheerleading squad's wonderful, too!

In just a few weeks, the NFL and college football seasons will begin!  But hey!  With Arena Football, CFL & NFL Europe going on in the off-season, gridiron action is year round!

This showcases a field hockey team from somewhere in the world!  Outside the USA, field hockey has a great fan base.

This is a community college women's tennis team.  Ever since Billie Jean King beat Bobby Riggs in 1973, the sport has come an awful long way!  Navratilova, Graf, Evert, Hingis, Seles...they're all fantastic players!  I love every one of 'em!

This is a simulated match with Kurt Angle & The Rock from a WWE video game.  The sport may be fake, but I love it anyway!

I saw a demonstration of Unicycle Basketball when I went to the Greatest Show on Earth in 1977.  Well, here's an exhibition of it here in a Canadian rink!

I've got to say that women's soccer deserves more respect here in the USA!  I hope we can bring the WUSA-or something like it-back into existence!  The ladies deserve something they can aspire to!

Gentlemen, ladies can bowl, too!  One of the finest WPBA bowlers has to be Carolyn Dorin-Ballard, pictured here.  Looks like another strike!

What could be more fitting to finish off this sports page than a tribute to one of the world's most graceful sports there is...figure skating!  It's party time on the ice!
